A few weeks ago some friends and I took a trip to Canton, TX, where they host First Trade Mondays - the weekend before the first Monday of every month. Think of a giant craft bazaar, retail goods, yard sales, antiques, shoes, food, jewelry, furniture, and just about anything else you can think of. Then imagine it on a massive scale - we were there for two days and didn't see it all. That's Canton.
At the end of the first day, we came to a store with pillowcase dresses made out of vintage linens - bright white dresses with lace, embroidery, and crochet embellishments. Beautiful. I told myself "you could do that". And so I am. I plan on opening up a shop on Hyena Cart on my little girl's second birthday - June 17th.
